This workshop is intended for participants who have experience in environmental modifications. It will address more complex environmental issues including:

* The theories behind home modifications
* Anthropometric measurement.
* Documentation as the basis for design- medico legal implications.
* The Building Code of Australia, implications for design and council requirements.
* Kitchen design.

Pre-requisites
Participants must have completed Environmental Modifications in the home - level 1 or equivalent, and must supply evidence of attendance at this workshop with their registration form.

Participants must have extensive clinical experience in Home Modifications and supply evidence of this with brief CV and copy of recent environmental modifications report for consideration by the presenter. These documents must be supplied at time of registration. Feedback on acceptance of evidence will be supplied by the presenter as soon as possible.

About the Presenter: Sandi Lightfoot-Collins
Sandi Lightfoot-Collins holds a B App Sc.(OT) from the University of Sydney (U Syd) 1984; a Graduate Diploma in Gerontology (U Syd), 1988; a certificate in Disability Principles for the Built Environment (NSW TAFE 2001) and a Certificate in OH & S Risk Management for Supervisors and Managers (NSW TAFE), 2003. She has been an Occupational Therapist for 21 years. For the last ten years Sandi has coordinated a Level 1 and Level 2 HMMS for South Western Sydney Area Health Service (SWSAHS). Sandi has also presented at conferences and undertaken invitations to present on environmental modifications, participated on working parties with both the Dept. of Health and DADHC and developed undergraduate and post graduate curriculum for environmental modifications.
