IT for OT's is a four hour training session aimed at Occupational Therapists in private practice. The training looks at the use of Microsoft Office software to a create client database and electronic forms which fill automatically from the database.
The course is aimed at assisting OT’s towards a paperless practice and to address some of the logisticsof doing this.
The workshop also provides an overview of latest hardware (eg tablets) and software that can be used to assist inthe management of a private practice.
Training is provided by Melanie Dennis (OT) of e-allied health.
Participants will be required to bring their own computers with Microsoft Office software installed
(especially Word and Excel).
Pre-requisites: Participants should have a basic understanding of Windows and have had some experience using Microsoft Office programs.
