Presented By

Anita Brown-Major

Presenter

Anita Brown-Major (she/her) is an Occupational Therapist with over 27 years of experience in neurological rehab, mental health, and community practice. She is the Director of Thrive Rehab, a Melbourne-based service known for its neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and inclusive approach to Occupational Therapy. Anita is the founder of Cliterate, a 3D anatomical model created in collaboration with RMIT’s Industrial Design program. The model supports accurate, inclusive education about the clitoris, vulva, and pelvic anatomy, and is used by health professionals and educators across Australia. Through this work, Anita advocates for a pleasure-inclusive approach to healthcare and challenges the ongoing gaps in anatomical and sexual health education. Passionate about recognising intimacy, sexuality, and pleasure as meaningful occupations, Anita champions access, dignity, and autonomy for people of all genders, bodies, and identities. She continues to advocate for the role of occupational therapists in supporting sexual health and wellbeing across the lifespan.
