OVERVIEW

The aim of this interest group is to:

  • Provide support and a networking opportunity to driver trained occupational therapists
  • Provide a forum where occupational therapists working in, or interested in driving assessment can raise relevant issues of concern with their colleagues
  • Provide ongoing education and professional development in areas relevant to occupational therapy driving assessment

Caitlin Ahmad

Presenter & Co-Convenor

Caitlin Ahmad is an experienced Occupational Therapist and Driver-Trained OT who has worked in the public rehabilitation sector for the majority of her career. She is currently the Lead OT for the Aged Care, Rehabilitation, and Palliative Care division of her Local Health Network, and she facilitates and works in the Driving Assessment and Rehabilitation Clinic. She co-convenes the SA branch of the Driver Interest Group, and has been involved in various research projects within her roles in SA Health. Caitlin is committed to and passionate about learning and growth, both for herself and supporting this in other OTs, and she strives to be a strong role model and advocate for OT.
