OT Sexual Wellbeing Interest Group - 22 OCT 25

OT Sexual Wellbeing Interest Group - 22 OCT 25

The OT Sexual Wellbeing Interest Group invites you to their October meeting.

Program Overview

This is a free, member only session.

Please join the OT Sexual Wellbeing Interest Group Community via OTA Connect here before registering.

OVERVIEW

The OTA Sexual Wellbeing Interest Group welcomes all occupational therapists interested in sexuality, regardless of experience or knowledge level. Grounded in the World Health Organization’s (2006) definition, the group explores sexuality as a broad concept encompassing sexual activity, pleasure, intimacy, reproduction, gender identity, sexual orientation, and more. Recognizing that clients express sexuality uniquely and that it is shaped by various health determinants, the group aims to promote understanding, support, and client-centred practice in this vital area. As research and practice in sexual wellbeing continue to grow, the group serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, fostering discussion, and enhancing clinical practice.
