This Interest Group (IG) is open to all OTA members working in or with an interest in pain management. This group aims to: 

• Provide evidence-based professional development activities and research
• Connect and network with other OTs 
• Explore the role of occupational therapy in pain management

Honest Conversations in Pain Practice: What Helps, What Hurts & What Has to Change

Join us for a practical and collaborative session where we’ll:
• Share real-world challenges and wins in pain practice
• Explore opportunities – VR, AI tools, trauma-informed care, interoception, and beyond
• Discuss how OTA’s Pain Capability Framework can be better supported with clinical tools and advocacy documents
• Co-design ideas to support OTs in this space – assessment resources, marketing tools for referrers, and suggestions to take back to OTA
