OVERVIEW
This is a group to:
- provide opportunities for occupational therapists working with older people across all settings to connect, learn and share resources, as well as support each other
- advocate for the occupational therapy role and better outcomes for older people
- bring together OTs for joint learning opportunities (presentations, service information, journal club, discussions on complex issues)
- network and meet others in the field

Dr Caroline Mills
Presenter
Dr Caroline Mills has been an occupational therapist for 20 years in the disability sector, earning a PhD in Health Sciences from The University of Sydney in 2018. Much of Caroline’s work has focused on supporting autistic people and people with intellectual disability. Her research and teaching focuses on co-designed initiatives and innovative technologies to improve the lives of people with disability in health and community settings. Caroline is currently a senior lecturer in the School of Health Sciences at Western Sydney University in NSW.

Dr Bill Wong
Presenter
Bill has been an occupational therapist in the United States since 2012. He was diagnosed with autism in 2010. Bill primarily works in the home health setting. He is also serving as 1 of 2 co-facilitators for AOTA's Autism Community of Practice. He also has delivered 3 TEDx talks while also published at least 50 others
