Presented By

Lee Davids
Presenter (Occupational Therapist)
Ms Lee Davids is a senior occupational therapist with extensive experience across the health, disability, and personal injury compensation sectors. She spent 10 years working in hospital and rehabilitation settings, primarily in psychiatry and neurological rehabilitation, and since 2002 has operated a private practice providing occupational therapy advice and case management services for adults and children in the compensation and aged care sectors. Over more than 30 years, she has held leadership roles in both private and public organisations, overseeing large allied health and service delivery teams, and has held senior positions in two of Australia’s leading personal injury insurers, where she developed injury management strategy, led national advisory networks, and delivered major design and policy initiatives that improved outcomes for injured claimants and achieved significant portfolio savings. During nearly a decade with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), she led multiple business units—including the Technical Advisory Branch—served as Special Advisor to three CEOs, and oversaw major cross‑agency projects such as designing the participant planning process and service delivery operating model. She has contributed to major Commonwealth policy work and has extensive experience in dispute resolution, managing complex NDIS dispute portfolios including the AAT and representing the Agency in Australian Human Rights Commission matters.
