Kahli Joyce
Presenter
Kahli is the principal Occupational Therapist and Director of Stretchy Minds Paediatric Occupational Therapy. She is an incredibly passionate Occupational Therapist who loves to empower children, young people and families with the skills, confidence and knowledge to thrive in their everyday lives. Kahli predominantly works with children who are neurodivergent and/or have goals relating to motor planning and coordination, emotional regulation, anxiety management, executive functioning, self-esteem, and social confidence. Kahli is also a keen yogi and loves helping children and adolescents find their ‘zen’; she is a certified Adult and Kids Yoga teacher, with additional training in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga. Kahli regularly incorporates elements of yoga - including mindful movement, breathing strategies, guided mediation, and self-reflection - into regular occupational therapy sessions. Kahli has also co-designed and facilitated a general yoga program for children of all neurotypes, and delivered yoga to teens in schools. In her spare time, Kahli runs around after her toddler and fluffy groodle, and enjoys heading to a Vinyasa class!
Kim Reese
Presenter & Co-Convenor
Kim is a convenor for the OT Australia Yoga, Mindfulness, and Body-Based Practices Special Interest Group. With extensive experience as a paediatric occupational therapist and yoga instructor, she is dedicated to nurturing the growth and potential of every child. Kim blends the physical, mindful and playful elements of yoga with evidence-based OT practices to create dynamic, engaging sessions that foster self-regulation, self-efficacy, motor planning, playfulness, and a deep sense of joy. Outside of her professional life, Kim supports her two amazing boys through life's adventures and enjoys paddling, biking, running, and connecting with nature and others.
