Paediatric Oncology and working as a clinician-researcher
Have you ever wanted to talk about OT and research, but wasn't sure where to start? Come and join us to talk about being a clinician-researcher, and insights from Chelsea's journey to navigating the research world while working at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network. We look forward to an collaborative discussion on how we can best integrate research into our daily clinical practice.

Chelsea Valentin
Presenter (Occupational Therapist)
Chelsea Valentin is a paediatric occupational therapist and early clinician-researcher currently working in Palliative Care at the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick. Having worked in acute paediatric oncology across three tertiary children's hospitals in Australia and New Zealand over the last 8 years, Chelsea began asking unsolved questions which led to undertaking a PhD investigating the role of OT in paediatric oncology. Chelsea is passionate about bridging the gap between papers and bedside practice, and providing evidence-based practice for busy clinicians that is focused on the child, their family and community for the most meaningful outcomes.
