OVERVIEW
This is a group to:
- Discuss professional standards and guidelines for practice relevant to the field.
- Develop resources that will assist new therapists moving into the field of medicolegal work and
- Provide evidence based training for expert therapists providing medicolegal reports that are consistent with the occupational therapy philosophy and ethics as well as the Expert Witness Code of Conduct relevant for each state.

Jocelyn has completed a Master Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Occupational Therapy), published research, presented at multiple conferences, and worked in neurological rehabilitation for over two decades. She has been a Senior Occupational Therapist at Royal Perth Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital, working in neurology and neurosurgery wards and neuroscience outpatients. Jocelyn provides medicolegal assessments for those with complex injuries. She has completed expert report and expert witness courses with the Australian College of Legal Medicine. She led a transformative project promoting independence in the neurological rehabilitation ward at Shenton Park Campus and was one of the first WA Occupational Therapists to undertake and apply SENSe training. In 2015, she moved to Rehabilitation in the Home and became the Stroke/Neurology consultative Occupational Therapist. Jocelyn initiated and published research on ecological cognitive assessment after stroke and co-led the implementation of Constraint Induced Movement Therapy. Jocellyn is currently a member of the Stroke Foundation Clinical Guidelines Working Group and appointed to the Insurance Commission of Western Australia Expert Review Panel. She has served on the South Metropolitan Human Ethics Research Committee and the Australian Telehealth Stroke Community of Practice
