Program Overview
RECORDED WEBINAR SUMMARY
OTA’s Member Forum on Aged Care Reforms was presented on Monday 26th May 2025 and provided important updates on the latest policy developments.
The new Aged Care Act comes into effect on 1 July 2025. The associated reform of aged care is extensive and will impact all areas of aged care service provision. Alongside the release of new aged care rules and guidance materials, a new Regulatory model is being introduced, as well as new pricing guides and caps. This raises a lot of concerns and questions about the provision of occupational therapy services in aged care settings.
At this Member Forum, OTA provided an update on what changes are being introduced, what this means for OTs working in aged care settings and OTA’s advocacy activities to ensure the profession is represented and the roles of OTs secured during the implementation of the aged care reforms.
This session is suitable for:
OTA members and occupational therapists working in Aged Care settings
