Regional Communities

To support all members, Occupational Therapy Australia provides numerous opportunities for like-minded members based in a specific geographical location to discuss various practice issues through the OTA Regional Communities.

Bringing together occupational therapists in various stages of their careers and experience, the OTA Regional Communities engage in resource and CPD development, peer support, networking, knowledge sharing, and when possible, these groups are engaged as resources for Occupational Therapy Australia to draw on for expert opinion on particular issues.

Any material, content or resources shared and discussed at regional community groups is general in nature and is used to guide peer discussion and support only. Occupational Therapy Australia encourages all participants to think critically and appraise the content for individual circumstances. Occupational Therapy Australia does not necessarily endorse content delivered in these formats and accepts no liability for any consequences resulting from adhering to the content shared at regional community groups.
