Purpose of study: This study seeks to explore the perceived needs of carers (from health professionals), the decision-making processes of health professionals, and how health professionals support the health and wellbeing of informal carers aged 50+ who care for older adults aged 65+. Findings from this research aim to:
- Advance knowledge about how health professionals support carers
- Inform and strengthen policy related to carer support
- Contribute to improved health outcomes for carers and older adults
Participation Criteria: Any health professional who is or has been practising in Australia within the last 12 months, and working (or previously worked) with adults over the age of 50 years.
