Purpose of study: This survey forms part of a 4th year Occupational Therapy group project. It aims to explore Occupational Therapists’ experiences of personal safety during home and community visits, including the types of safety concerns experienced and their impact on practice. The survey will also identify the safety policies, resources, tools and strategies currently available to Occupational Therapists, including their accessibility, effectiveness and any identified gaps. The findings will help inform the development of practical, relevant and accessible personal safety resources for Occupational Therapists through Occupational Therapy Australia.

Participation criteria:

• Be a registered occupational therapist in Australia
• Have experience conducting occupational therapy within a home/ community setting in Australia within the last 10 years
• Be 18 years or older
• Be able to provide consent
• Be able to understand and complete the survey in English

Survey Audience: Occupational therapists across Australia who have or currently conduct home & community visits.
