The School Version of the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (School AMPS) is used to measure the quality of a student’s schoolwork task performance. The School AMPS can be administered to students with or without a disability who are experiencing challenges with schoolwork task performance. There are over 25 schoolwork tasks included in the School AMPS, including writing, drawing, coloring, cutting, pasting, and computer tasks. The School AMPS has been standardized on an international sample of over 9,300 students between the ages of 3 to 15 years.
AMPS course participants will recieve:
- Five-day School AMPS training course
- The current School AMPS Manual
- A personalised AMPS computer scoring program, provided to trained raters at completion of the course
More information about School AMPS can be obtained on their website: https://www.innovativeotsolutions.com/tools/scamps
Robyn draws on over thirty-five years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in Victoria. As part of her practice in supporting other occupational therapists, she is keen to work with them in grounding their practice in meaningful occupation both for their client group and also to add to their professional identity as occupational therapists. This has led her to be involved in sharing occupation-based intervention models such as Occupational Therapy Intervention Process Model and assessment tools such as Assessment of Motor and Process Skills, the School Assessment of Motor and Process Skills and the Evaluation of Social Interaction.
