During OT Week we celebrate occupational therapists and promote the many ways occupational therapy can help people at all stages of life to reach their potential. Each year, OT Week is held to coincide with World Occupational Therapy Day on 27 October and in 2019 OT Week will be held from Monday 21 to Sunday 27 October.
Guest presenter Michelle Villeneuve, University of Sydney, will talk about “A re-think about person-centred care and the tools we use: Why occupational therapists are poised to lead the way in Australia”
An informative presentation while also motivating OTs to move some ideas forward – from where they are in their roles and how tools help or hinder OTs in that client-centred OT quest.
