During OT Week we celebrate occupational therapists and promote the many ways occupational therapy can help people at all stages of life to reach their potential. Each year, OT Week is held to coincide with World Occupational Therapy Day on 27 October and in 2019 OT Week will be held from Monday 21 to Sunday 27 October.
Hosted by OTA NSW Divisional Councillor Trina Phuah, “Building resilience in practice” – presenters Helen van Huet and Kim Lustig from Charles Sturt University will discuss resources and strategies clinicians can use to enhance and support resilience in practice.
They will also present the work they are doing with Charles Sturt University Occupational Therapy students to prepare them for clinical placements and their future practice.
7.30am: registration and buffet breakfast
8.00am – Welcome, Trina Phuah NSW Divisional Councillor
8.10am – Presentation and Q&A– Building resilience in practice - Helen van Huet and Kim Lustig, CSU
9.00am – conclusion
Those who attend will get to:
